No Atlanta United players were selected by LAFC in Tuesday’s expansion draft.

LAFC, which will begin play in 2018, selected:

Seattle goalkeeper Tyler Miller.

Sporting KC forward Latif Blessing.

San Jose forward Marco Urena.

Columbus fullback Jukka Raitala.

Toronto forward Raheem Edwards.

Atlanta United left unprotected:

Midfielder Yamil Asad, who was on loan and whose stats hasn’t been announced.

Fullback Mark Bloom, whose contract option wasn’t picked up.

Defender Bobby Boswell, whose contract expired and is a free agent.

Midfielder Kevin Kratz.

Midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, who was included among the list of free agents posted by the league on Sunday.

Fullback Tyrone Mears, whose contract option wasn’t picked up.

Midfieflder Chris McCann.

Midfielder Kevin Oliveira, who was acquired on Sunday in a trade with Sporting KC.

Midfielder Jeffrey Otoo, whose contract option wasn’t picked up.

Midfielder Tyler Pasher, who was acquired on Sunday in a trade with Sporting KC.

Midfielder Jacob Peterson.

Goalkeeper Kyle Reynish, whose contract expired and is a free agent.

Atlanta United and LAFC did make a curious trade on Sunday, with the Five Stripes sending an international spot in exchange for a fourth round pick in January’s SuperDraft. International spots are considered more valuable than picks in the lower rounds of the draft.
