The Hawks are missing several wings due to injury, including Bogdan Bogdanovic, who sprained his right ankle in the loss to the Knicks Nov. 27.

On Nov. 28, the team said Bogdanovic would be out two weeks, which would fall on this Saturday. At practice Wednesday, Hawks coach Nate McMillan didn’t yet have a date for Bogdanovic’s expected return, but did say he has been shooting and is doing better, able to use his right side more.

“Feeling better,” McMillan said. “He’s starting to put more weight on his leg. Starting to push off. Not really jumping off it, mainly what he’s doing is a lot of shooting.”

Bogdanovic will have to make more progress before he can rejoin the team and be available to play, but it’s an encouraging sign that he’s taking a step forward in his rehab.
