‘Just Mercy’

The Warner Bros. film stars Michael B. Jordan ("Black Panther"), Brie Larson ("Room") and Jamie Foxx ("Baby Driver"), according to Variety. It's based on the book "Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption," which tells the true story of a young lawyer (to be played by Jordan) fighting for equal justice.

What are they looking for?

The following recurring roles are being cast, and they’ll work several additional dates. You don’t need to be available for all dates to apply:

  • Death row guard – Caucasian men, age 30s-60s. Your hair must be at least two to three inches long or longer and ideally the same length all around. No fades or sharp edges are allowed.
  • Death row prisoner – African-American or Hispanic men, age 18 and up. Your hair must be the same length all around (various lengths are OK). It should be your natural hair – no wigs, weaves, relaxers or straightening treatments.

When are they filming?

Filming for both roles will be in Atlanta on Sept. 7 and 12-14 with additional dates.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $75 for eight hours.
