‘Star’ 

Lee Daniels’ Fox musical drama is now filming its second season. The series tells the story of a girl named Star (Jude Demorest) who travels to Atlanta with her sister Simone (Brittany O’Grady) and spoiled rich girl Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) to try to become famous as a girl group. Queen Latifah portrays Star and Simone’s godmother.

What are they looking for? 

The following roles are being cast:

-Business types: Men and women that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 30’s to early 60’s. Must have nice business attire. Men must be clean shaven or have well-groomed facial hair.

-Fans: Men and women that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 20’s to 30’s.

-Bloggers: Men and women that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 20’s to 30’s that have a working iPhone with a non-cracked screen to portray blogger types.

-Press: Men and women that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 30’s to early 60’s that have nice business causal attire. Men must be clean shaven or well groomed facial hair.

When are they filming?

Filming is in Douglasville on Oct. 23.

How much does it pay?

All roles pay $88 for 10 hours.
