Real estate and investment firm CBRE recently released its annual list of top cities for techies in the U.S. and Canada. To do so, they analyzed the 50 largest markets based on job availability, employees with tech degrees, average apartment rent and momentum of growth.

While San Francisco and Seattle placed first and second, respectively, Atlanta was close behind at No. 5.

Companies in ATL, such as UPS, Oldcastle, Synergy, AT&T and Tech Mahindra, are mostly looking for software developers, computer user support specialists and information security analysts. There’s also a high demand for web developers and computer system analysts.
