An elderly man got into a fight at a Costco Sunday after trying to protect a cart of Nutella waffle samples from a greedy shopper, The Burbank Times reports.
Derrick Gharabighi, 24, of Burbank, Calif., reportedly punched a 78-year-old man in the face "when the elderly shopper told him to take just one," Burbank Police Officer Cindy Guillen told The Burbank Times.
The elderly man was hospitalized for a one-inch cut and swelling above his eye.
Gharabighi was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse, The Burbank Times reports.
