It may sound nuts, but it's true.
According to NBC News, police detained a squirrel after a woman in Bottrop, Germany, claimed the rodent was stalking her.
Officers with the North-Rhine Westphalia police department quickly learned that the squirrel was exhausted and helped it out by feeding it apples and honey tea. A Facebook video that shows the squirrel chowing down has been viewed more than 439,000 times.
Officials said the squirrel will be taken to an animal shelter.
