The sea cows have been reported in Little Lake Harris and several other lakes in the area.

Manatees aren't often seen in fresh water lakes but wildlife officials say it does happen from time to time.  The sea cows typically move inland from the coast during cold weather, seeking warmer water.

In this case, experts speculate the manatees migrated inland from the Ocklawaha River to Lake Harris and then on to other lakes in the area.

Apparently, she doesn't know that manatees are docile herbivores and pose no threat to humans.
