Fingerprints being tested after woman glued to toilet seat

investigators are seeking the help of a crime lab in trying to figure out who was behind a prank that severely injured a woman.

WSB-TV spoke with investigators who say they're now working to find fingerprints in the glue placed on the toilet seat in a busy store.

A north Georgia woman says she wants answers after an apparent prank in a restroom left her with serious injuries.

The woman says she wants answers from the store where it happened and from the person who put glue on the top of the toilet seat lids.

Twelve days after the incident, Illyanna De La Keur says she remains couch-bound. She says the injuries are painful and embarrassing.

"I'm a grown woman who can't even sit up," De La Keur said. "I was stuck probably over an hour."

De La Keur went to a Banks County Home Depot the day before Thanksgiving with her sister and brother-in-law.

She said when she went to the restroom, she never noticed anyone had tampered with seats until it was too late.

De La Keur's sister took video as paramedics worked to free her. You can hear her screaming in pain. Crews ultimately decided to use WD-40 to free her.

It worked, but she was left with ripped skin and several wounds. De La Keur and her family now question the process.

"I couldn't understand why they weren't just taking me to an emergency room and having a doctor remove it," De La Keur said.

"She wasn't in her right state of mind to OK an experiment on her. It worked, but I don't think she should have been there," De La Keur's sister, Aleera Canino, said.

A Home Depot representative said the company has left De La Keur two voice messages and mailed a letter to her. Home Depot said a third party is now handling the case.
