Earn a free subway ticket by doing squats

A vending machine has been set up at one of Moscow's subway stations that allows people to earn a free ticket by doing squats.

You have to do 30 squats, actually, to get the free ride.

The squats-for-seats initiative by the Russian Olympic Committee aims to promote sports and fitness in advance of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. 
Alexei Nemov, legendary Russian gymnast and Olympian champion, says squats strengthen your musculo-skeletal system.

The promotion will last all month.
