Who could forget that classic scene in "A Christmas Story" when Flick sticks his tongue to a pole on a "triple-dog dare" and it freezes right to it.  It has inspired countless YouTube videos of kids trying the same thing and getting the same painful results.

In Canada, Lucas McDonald, 4, suffered injuries after his cheek and tongue got stuck on a school bus window and his cries for help were ignored, according to the boy's mother, Alisha McDonald.

According to CTV News, the boy had a red welt on his cheek and marks on his lips after the incident.

The boy's mother says it's unclear for how long her son was stuck during the half-hour bus ride to school, but what upsets her is that he was sitting right behind the bus driver, crying in pain.

"He was crying and said he was asking for help and nobody would help him," Alisha McDonald told CTV Ottawa"I'm like, 'How could you not have heard him crying and asking for help? How can you not see him?'
