A 16-year-old Washington state high school student suffered internal injuries and five cracked ribs Tuesday when she was pushed off a bridge and fell 60 feet, TDN.com reported.

Jordan Holgerson, who attends Kalama High School, was pushed off a the bridge at Moulton Falls, according to her mother, Genelle Holgerson.

"She is lucky she is not paralyzed or dead. We're lucky she is going to recover and not have permanent injuries," Holgerson, who is a medical assistant, told TDN.com.

A video of the incident, which has since been removed from social media, shows the teen standing at the railing of the bridge, wearing a swimsuit.

When Jordan hesitates, the arms of another person appear in the video to push her off the span and into the east fork of the Lewis River..

Genelle Holgerson said she knew the identity of the person who pushed her daughter off the bridge, adding that she is an adult.

"I'm very upset with her. She is an adult, and I'm sure she should have known better," Genelle Holgerson told TDN.com. "She could have killed my daughter."

Jordan’s injuries also included a bruised esophagus, and an injured trachea. She also had air trapped in the lining of her lungs, Genelle Holgerson said.

"She is alert but in pain and is very tired," Holgerson told TDN.com.
