Clifford Harris Jr., aka T.I. The Atlanta rapper moved into his new home last week —- a cubicle-style cell in an Arkansas federal penitentiary. Harris, 28, is serving a 366-day prison sentence for illegal firearms possession.

'Burbs residents. Just because your street is quiet doesn't mean it's safe. Law enforcement officials continue to target drug cartels setting up shop in metro Atlanta's suburban neighborhoods.

Atlanta City Council President Lisa Borders. The mayoral candidate had her own brush with crime early Wednesday when burglars broke into her downtown condo. Thieves also struck her other home in southwest Atlanta in September and January. "It's certainly unnerving, but the police were fantastic in getting here and making sure the house was clear," Borders said.

Americans. Metro Atlanta —- and the rest of the nation —- honored the sacrifices of fallen soldiers in Memorial Day ceremonies. "They answered a call. They said 'I'll go.' That is why they are the best of America," President Barack Obama said Monday during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery. In the Atlanta area, among the many gatherings were ceremonies at Stone Mountain Park, Roswell City Hall and Marietta National Cemetery.

Clayton County grads. High school seniors finally finished a roller-coaster ride of a year, getting their diplomas over the weekend. It's a good thing the school system regained accreditation just in the nick of time.

Lijah Hanley of Cumming. The 13-year-old photographer should add "adventurer" to his resume. He recently won $17,000 in prizes —- including a trip to the jungles of Peru —- in the National Geographic Kids Hands-On Explorer Challenge, a photo and essay contest.
