A 9-year-old Virginia boy who is non-verbal and has autism has been found and is safe, WSET reported.
Pittsylvania County Sheriff Mike Taylor said Andrew Garr Yarboro, of Chatham, who had been missing since Tuesday, was found near a church, the television station reported.
Taylor said a woman, who heard the child was missing, decided to walk in the woods behind her home and found Andrew near a creek, WSET reported.
Deputies received a call around 5:30 p.m. reporting the boy had wandered away from his home and could not be found, WDBJ reported.
Authorities searching for the boy found some of his clothes next to a creek at approximately, 4 a.m. Wednesday, GoDanRiver reported.
