Operators and supervisors of Georgia’s popular Highway Emergency Response Operators (HERO) program have donned new uniforms to help them be more easily recognizeable beginning this week.

A HERO will always be driving a labeled vehicle and will always be willing to present their state identification card. They cannot solicit or accept any payment or gratuity.
