A vehicle crashed into a DeKalb County elementary school Tuesday morning and caused minor damage to the building, a district official said.

One adult and three children were in the vehicle when it hit the side of Columbia Elementary School near Decatur about 7:15 a.m., the official told Channel 2 Action News.

No one was injured in the incident, and it was not known if the driver was cited.

There were no delays to the school’s class schedule as a result of the crash, Channel 2 reported.
