A driver was charged with vehicular homicide in a three-vehicle crash that killed another man Saturday in Marietta.

Tulia Eustache, 57, faces charges of reckless driving and first degree vehicular homicide, Cobb County police Sgt. Brody Staud said.

The crash occurred just before 7:10 p.m. on Barrett Parkway between Stilesboro and Burnt Hickory roads.

According to investigators, David Richardson, 19, of Marietta, was traveling southbound on Barrett Parkway, when his white 1998 Plymouth Neon was struck head on by a black 2003 Mercedes Benz CL500.

Eustache, of Atlanta, was the driver of the Mercedes, Staud said.

Richardson died on the scene, and Eustache was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A third vehicle, driven by 44-year-old Melanie Duncan of Marietta, was traveling behind the Neon and stuck the rear of the car.

It is unclear if that driver sustained injuries.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at (770) 499-3987.
