A driver faces charges after a deadly motorcycle crash in Sandy Springs.

Cameron Densler, 24, of Marietta, was killed in the crash, which occurred Saturday afternoon south of Abernathy Road, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office.

A vehicle entered the road and failed to yield to the motorcycle, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Sam Worsham said. The vehicles collided, shutting down part of Roswell Road.

The driver, who has not been identified, was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield, Worsham said.

It was one of two deadly motorcycle crashes in metro Atlanta on Saturday.

Richard Lara, 21, of Lilburn, was killed speeding with another vehicle about 10:30 p.m. along I-85 North near Buford Highway, Atlanta police said.
