Deadly crash causes backups in Walton County

A deadly crash is causing delays on U.S. 78 in Walton County.
Traffic is being rerouted near Mount Vernon Road, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
“Expect delay for probably as much as an hour,” a Walton sheriff’s official said on Facebook.
The area is about 47 miles east of downtown Atlanta.
