A: McKee has been out of radio and retired since 1998.
He lives in a 55 and older community in East Cobb and said in a recent text that he plays a lot of golf, is working on a novel called “Disco Kroger,” day trades and rides Harleys.
Where he lives, he wrote, “there’s lots of sports and lots of poker and lots of cheap scotch and lots of cheap clothes from nearby Marshalls. We often use Marshalls’ coupons as poker chips.”
McKee hosted the top morning show on pop station 94Q (along with 790/WQXI) for nearly two decades, from 1971-89.
