Q: Can you please tell me what happened to Lisa Rayam and Karen Graham from Fox 5 news? They were both really good.

—Brenda Clark, Newnan

Q: Rayam and Fox 5 parted ways in May, after her contract wasn't renewed, the AJC reported on May 2.

Rayam, who had been with Fox 5 for nearly 22 years, wrote on her Fox 5 Facebook page: “It is all about making a change for my family. I need more time with my awesome children. I need early dinners with them. I need to help on homework. I need to show up ‘on time’ for them everywhere.”

Graham, a host on “Good Day Atlanta,” left the station in September after 16 years there to pursue other opportunities.

“Nearly a year ago I made it clear to (Fox 5 executives) that God was calling me to do something greater than me, something of a greater service to the community and the world — and they honored my decision,” Graham wrote on her station Facebook page. “If you have watched me over the years you already know I have strong ties to the deaf community. I am simply following my passion and answering my calling.”

Gurvir Dhindsa, another “Good Day Atlanta” host, left Fox 5 in April after five years on the show.

Alyse Eady has replaced Dhindsa and Constance Jones has replaced Graham, the AJC reported.
