UPDATE: Watch an encore performance of the parade today at 4:30 p.m. on WSB-TV and right here on wsbtv.com.

Channel 2 anchors Fred Blankenship and Linda Stouffer celebrate the holiday season with an Atlanta tradition, “The Children’s Christmas Parade.”

Channel 2 partners with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation's top ranked pediatric hospitals. Every year, the parade salutes children who have been healed.  This year's face of the parade is Knox Bishop, who was diagnosed with a spinal tumor and after undergoing treatment, is making big improvements.

This year's parade will feature award-winning marching bands, floats, exciting dance performances, giant helium balloons, clowns and, of course, Santa.  Marching bands from the following local schools will liven up the street: Fayette County High School, Georgia State University, Mountain View High School and Booker T. Washington High School bands.

Now in its 34th year, the parade marches through Midtown Atlanta. The fun starts at Peachtree and 16th Street, continues for one mile and ends at Peachtree and 5thStreet.
