Students and staff members at Roswell’s River Eves Elementary and Holcomb Bridge Middle School are showing their gratitude for our nation’s military heading into to Veteran’s Day and the Thanksgiving holiday. They have sent nearly 1,000 letters to members of our U.S. armed forces stationed overseas. “It is magical to see the students put their love into these letters. While it is just a small gesture compared to what our armed forces give to us, we hope the love of a child will help to lift their spirits.” said Jodi Bassett, a third grade teacher at River Eves.
