Gwinnett County police released information Wednesday regarding a March 25 robbery at a Buford Little Caesars store, during which an unidentified man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The suspect paced back and forth while waiting for the money — giving the eatery’s surveillance system ample opportunity to capture a pair of crystal clear photos.
“After the employee opened the cash drawer,” Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Michele Pihera said, “the suspect grabbed the paper bills and (left) the store.”
No description of a possible getaway vehicle was available, but surveillance images provided more than enough intel about the culprit.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall. He had short, dark hair and a goatee, and his weight was estimated at “over 250 pounds.”
The robbery occurred at the Little Caesars location at 2725 Hamilton Mill Road.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Gwinnett County police detectives at 770-513-5300. Tipsters can also remain anonymous — and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000 — by contacting Crime Stoppers at crimestoppersatlanta.org or 404-577-TIPS.
