A week after Tina Waddell was savagely beaten while walking on the popular Silver Comet Trail near Dallas, her attacker is still at large, but Paulding County sheriff's deputies are hoping that a new reward fund will generate new tips that will lead to an arrest.

Paulding Sheriff Gary Gulledge has established the Tina Waddell Reward Fund at the North Georgia Bank branch in Hiram, AM750 and 95.5FM News/Talk WSB reported.

The fund is the second set up to raise money for a reward. Last week, Waddell's family set up the "Take Back the Trail for Tina" fund at Sun Trust Bank.

Waddell, 42, was brutally beaten last Tuesday while walking along the trail near the Paulding County apartment complex where she lives with her husband, Jim.

Her husband and brother-in-law planned to lead a bike ride along the 61.5 mile Silver Comet Trail to keep attention focused on the incident.
