The search for the suspect in Friday's fatal shooting in Sandy Springs intensified Wednesday when the reward amount swelled to $10,000.

About 10 a.m. Friday, Freddie Antonio Rosales-Ruano was shot on a sidewalk in front of a shopping plaza at 215 Northwood Drive. Shortly after that, Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta offered up to $2,000 for information leading to the capture and conviction of the suspect, Tranquilino “Frankie” Garcia-Lorenzo.

Sandy Springs police Chief Ken DeSimone announced Wednesday that his agency was adding $8,000 to the pot.
