Richt’s newest Bulldog is a granddaughter

July 14, 2014As Mark Richt gets his 14th season as Georgia’s football coach under way this week at the SEC Media Days, he carries another title with him to Birmingham.
Just call him Grandpa.
The latest addition to the Bulldogs' first family is Jadyn Elise Richt, born to Mark Richt's oldest son, Jon Richt, and his wife Anna last Wednesday.
Richt hasn’t commented yet on becoming a first-time grandfather at 54. But, as you might imagine, the whole affair has played out rather publicly over social media.
