Peachtree City police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a gunman who pistol-whipped two restaurant owners in the driveway of their home.
The robbery happened early Sunday outside a home on Abrell Woods Court, Peachtree City police Lt. Mark Brown said.
The victims had just left their business, the China Garden restaurant in Union City, and one was carrying a bag similar to a bank deposit bag, Brown said.
He said that when they got out of their vehicle in the driveway of their home, someone wearing all black struck them in the head with a handgun and demanded their bag and money.
The victims turned over the cash to the assailant, who fled in a large dark sedan, Brown said.
He described the suspect as 6-foot-1 male with a medium build and short hair.
A second person was driving the getaway vehicle, according to Brown.
