Police investigating southwest Atlanta shooting

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in southwest Atlanta on Saturday night, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The victim was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as Jerome Rice, 25, of Atlanta, Channel 2 said.
Rice was shot on Beecher Street shortly after 8 p.m. on Saturday, near a Family Dollar store equipped with surveillance cameras.
