SIl Mazzini, of Tucson, invited more than 30 children to a birthday party at a pizza restaurant for her 6-year-old son, Teddy, KPHO reported.

Although the tables were filled with pizza and drinks, none of Teddy’s classmates showed up for the party, Mazzini told the television station.

When the Phoenix Suns heard about the no-shows, team officials stepped up and offered the boy tickets to Wednesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, KPHO reported.

It will be Teddy’s first NBA game, Mazzini said.

"We are super excited," Mazzini told KPHO.
