Power has been restored, but some services are limited as crews work to repair damage to Peachtree City government buildings damaged by a weekend electrical fire.
The Sunday afternoon electrical fire involved a utility pole and mechanical boxes outside City Hall, which was closed until noon Monday, according to a statement on the city's website.
Telephone and Internet services have not been restored and continue to affect other city facilities, Peachtree City officials said in the statement, which was posted at 11:30 a.m. Monday on the city’s website.
Those services may not be restored until 8 p.m., according to the statement.
