Some are calling it a miracle, others say it is just a matter of incredible fortune.

Either way, a Massachusetts mother is counting her blessings after almost losing her baby due to a freak accident.

According to the Eagle Tribune, Anna Rivera was pushing her 4-month-old's stroller on Tuesday when the stroller somehow got trapped under the wheels of a moving truck.

The shocking incident was caught on tape by a security camera and shows how the panic-stricken Rivera chased after the truck as it sped off with her child in tow.

The truck driver was finally flagged down after around 100 feet when another driver noticed what was going on and pulled out in front of him to force him to stop.

Rivera finally reached the stopped truck and joyfully found the youngster not only safe and unharmed, but giggling.

The stroller was stuck near the back tire of the truck and had apparently been clipped by the truck as the driver made a turn at the corner Rivera was standing at with her baby.

The truck's driver, Gilberto Lizardo, says he was equally shocked to discover he had knocked into a stroller, "I can't see from the mirror, I can't see anything. I almost killed a baby. I was very scared."

The paper reported that the mother of four had been forced to walk along the edge of the road after homeowners and businesses along the street failed to clear snow from the sidewalk.

Police say no charges are expected to be brought against the driver.
