A fugitive from Minnesota who taunted she'd "never be caught" on social media was arrested in northern Indiana on Monday, WXIN reported.
Tiesha Monique Moore, 31, was taken into custody in Michigan City by members of the Twin Cities Apprehension Team.
Moore was wanted on 16 outstanding warrants when she was arrested, WNDU reported. The warrants were for felony first-degree criminal damage to property, felony domestic assault, felony theft, felony aiding and abetting financial transaction card fraud, felony wrongfully obtaining assistance by false statement, impersonation or concealment, felony DWI, and several gross misdemeanor criminal charges.
Stew Peters, lead investigator for the Twin Cities Apprehension Team, said multiple residences in Minnesota, North Dakota and Indiana were searched for Moore, who had taunted investigators on Facebook that she would "never be caught."
Moore was arrested within 24 hours of her posts on the Twin Cities Apprehension Team's Facebook page.
The team posted some of her posts, which contain graphic language, on its Facebook page.
Michigan City police Sgt. Chris Yagelski said a local informant led authorities to Moore in the city, located 50 miles east of Chicago, WXIN reported.
