In less than two weeks, hundreds of metro Atlanta car enthusiasts will bring their coolest rides to a Marietta park to help raise money for charity.

The Creepers Fun Run #26 will be held in Jim R. Miller Park on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The event will include music, a swap meet, door prizes and other activities. The Creepers Car Club is based in Cobb County and members say they will be presenting awards to 25 awesome vehicles at the show “just because we like ‘em.”

In addtion to showing off some of the best classic cars and hot rods in the region, the event also raises money for charity.

“Last year the Creepers Car Club presented a $8,500 donation to representatives from the Special Olympics Georgia-Cobb organization, and a second $8,500 donation to representatives from the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals - Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta,” said Gregg Cofield, vice president of the club.
