A 29-year-old Georgia man died late Saturday afternoon after a crash at a WERA Cycle Jam motorcycle race at Road Atlanta.

The Dallas native, whose name has not been released, reportedly had difficulties when changing gears on his motorcycle during the race, causing him to lose control and run into a concrete barrier, according to Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes.
