A Douglas County man died Friday night after crashing his truck into tree, the county’s coroner said.

Bobby Turner, of Douglasville, had to be extricated after being temporarily trapped inside his tow truck off Ga. 166. He was pulling a garbage truck at the time of the crash.

Turner was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died, Douglas County Coroner Randy Daniel said Friday night.

The crash remains under investigation.
