SUNDAY'S WEATHER-TRAFFIC: Wet conditions will continue to dry out in the evening

After a wet weekend, warmer, drier conditions are on the way.

Sunday started off a little rainy, but the weather started to warm up and dry out in the afternoon. The rainy conditions will continue to clear out going into the evening, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Eboni Deon said.

Deon said Sunday’s temperature should warm up to a high of nearly 80 degrees as leftover showers move through the state. In the evening, temperatures will cool down into the low 50s.

That’ll carry over into the week, as sunshine returns on Monday, Deon said. It’ll be mostly sunny at the start of the week with highs in the low 80s.
