Have a budding MLB champ in the family? Don't miss this opportunity to enroll him or her in the Cobb Police Athletic League (PAL).

The free baseball camp focuses on juvenile crime prevention through athletic and recreational activities, according to a news release.

Registration for the camp at Southwest Baseball Complex (4905 Austell Powder Springs Road) is open for children and youth ages 4-15.

The baseball camp will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 for children ages 4-8.

The older kids' camp will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24.
