A Sandy Springs man was killed in a crash on Ga. 400 South about 4:45 p.m. Sunday, officials said.

David Diem, 44, was driving a Dodge pickup truck with a jon boat on its trailer when he hit a tractor-trailer, Sandy Springs spokeswoman Sharon Kraun said.

Kraun said the tractor-trailer was stopped on the shoulder of Ga. 400 at the time of impact.
