Friday: The weekend kicks off hot and humid, with a high of 90 degrees and a 20 percent chance of storms.

• Hopefully that means the Lilburn Farmers Market won't be washed out for the second week in a row. Its opening market last week was rained out and some tents were knocked over by tornado-strength winds.

• If skies stay clear, head out to the Peachtree Corners Festival. The family friendly event will kick off with a concert from Yacht Rock Schooner at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday: Temperatures will get back into the 80s, but just barely, with a high of 89. Chances of rain increase slightly to 30 percent.

• When the heat dies down in the evening, take the kids to the Mall of Georgia for a free screening of "Paddington 2," a movie based on the British children's books.

• Check out fresh, seasonal produce at farmers markets in Snellville, Suwanee and Norcross.

Sunday: High temeratures stay relatively steady, dipping one degree to a high of 88. Rain chances creep up to 40 percent.

• Take in an afternoon at the ballpark. The Gwinnett Stripers are hosting the Syracuse Chiefs for a 1:05 p.m. game.

Monday: Temperatures stay in the high 80s with a 40 percent chance of rain.
