Atlanta parcel owners seek zoning change for development

Development plans have been proposed for 320 N. Highland Ave. in Inman Park, according to the neighborhood association's website, inmanpark.org.
The parcel’s owners, 320 Highland LLC, have filed an application requesting the city of Atlanta to rezone the site to commercial from multifamily, said Cooper Pierce, commercial studio director at Jones Pierce Architects, who is working on the project. He said there is a second application to the city to consolidate the property.
Renovation of the existing building, known as Villa de Grip, as well as the addition of two new buildings are part of the plans, the association reports. Villa de Grip’s makeover would prepare it for a restaurant covering more than 5,000 square feet on the ground floor, and have office space on the second floor, also at more than 5,000 square feet.
One of the two new buildings on the site would be a three-story structure with a first floor restaurant and office space on two upper floors. The other proposed building would have a three-level parking deck topped with two floors of office space.
