Five Fulton County high schools scored in the state’s top 10 on the ACT test, with three others scoring near the top.

The class of 2016 at Northview High notched the second highest average composite score in the state at 27.2, just ahead of Johns Creek, Chattahoochee, Alpharetta and Campbridge high schools, according to results released today by the Georgia Department of Education.

Milton High scored a 24.8, landing at 19th in the state, with Roswell and Centennial high schools trailing close by. Riverwood International Charter School rounded out the top 50 with a 22.9, high to land 46th in the state.

Fulton school officials said their districtwide score ticked up slightly to 23.2.
