South Gwinnett High launches fashion event

South Gwinnett High School’s DECA program recently launched its premier annual fashion event.

The Comets’ Couture Fashion Show showcased fashion collections from eight student fashion designers. The evening opened with red carpet arrivals, followed by a fashion show which preceded a South Gwinnett Art Tapestry Exhibit.

A portion of the funds raised from this event will go to Georgia Cares, an organization fighting to end human trafficking in Atlanta. This show helped raise awareness of human trafficking and served as a call-to-action to fight a global issue that has had a major impact in Atlanta.

• Orchestra Ensemble

• Models

• SCAD-Savannah College of Arts and Design

• Youth Entrepreneurs

• Georgia Cares

• South Gwinnett Art Student Exhibit

• Community Volunteers

• DECA Students
