Shoppers preparing to send their children back to school will get that annual sales-tax relief at the end of the month.
The Georgia Department of Revenue announced the holiday from sales tax will be July 30 and 31. Most work and school-related items will be tax-exempt during the holiday.
A list on the Department of Revenue's website includes things such as vintage clothing, sports uniforms, shoes and school supplies. Wigs, cosmetics and video games will still be taxable for the weekend.
