McIntosh team proves prowess in drone competition

The Peachtree City Droners at McIntosh High School placed second in the nation, in their first year working together, in the first small Unmanned Aircraft System national competition Aug. 20 in Muncie, Ind. Robbie van Zyl, Parker Korn, Marcus DiBattista, Ian Buckalew, Andrew Walter, and Matt Harmon were one of 11 teams from middle and high schools across the country in the event sponsored by the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
