A recently completed $94 million capital campaign for the Lovett School has allowed for completion of an athletic center, renovations to the football stadium and the addition of a pedestrian plaza, among other things, officials said.

About $28.6 million from “Our Defining Decade: A Campaign for Lovett,” held from 2005 to 2015, will be dedicated to the school’s endowment, according to a press release on the campaign.

Those returning for the 2015-2016 school year saw the completed 40,000-square-foot Murray Athletic Center open to the Lovett community, as well as renovations to Lovett’s Kilpatrick Stadium.

The endowment growth will allow the school to invest in innovative program ideas, attract and develop a strong faculty and ensure the school will be around for future generations.
