Gwinnett names principal for new school
A veteran principal and administrator will lead Gwinnett County’s newest high school, officials announced late Thursday.
John Campbell, currently principal at Osborne Middle School, will be the first principal of a new high school that is scheduled to open in August.
Campbell joined the Gwinnett school district in 1982 as a counselor and has been a principal at three other schools and has worked as an administrator.
The new school will be on Old Norcross Road in Lawrenceville, near Benefield Elementary School. The high school will feature Junior Achievement’s middle school financial literacy and consumer education programs, BizTown and Finance Park.
