Gwinnett County parents and residents have a chance to suggest names for the new elementary school at 123 Price Place, Norcross. A committee of one school staff member and one parent or resident from each school in the Norcross area will review the suggestions and make a recommendation to Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks, who will submit his recommendation to the school board on Sept. 17.
Information on how to submit names for consideration, along with the necessary form, can be found on the school system’s web site at www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us. The deadline to submit public input on potential names for the new schools is Sept. 8.
