Gwinnett County parents hoping to enroll their children in kindergarten this fall are being asked to visit the prospective school on Thursday to complete the registration process.

Children must be five or older by Sept. 1 to enroll in kindergarten.

Parents are asked to check the school’s website for registration times. Parents unsure which school their child should attend are asked to call the school district’s Planning Department at 678-301-7085.

Gwinnett County’s 2017-18 school year is scheduled to begin on Aug. 7.

The school district has about 12,000 kindergarten students.
