Georgia almanac launches redesigned website

GeorgiaInfo, the state’s online almanac is launching a redesigned website on Tuesday.

The redesign updates the information from the previous site, and and will allow for better usage with the the latest technology. The new site will also feature expanded search features, historical facts and photo galleries.

The almanac was created in 1996 by the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute, and is still based at the university. The site became part of the state’s virtual library in 2008.
